Headliner Justin Wilcox (Pictured) was the big winner following his one-sided demolition of Rodrigo Damm at Strikeforce Challengers 15, as “The Silverback” took home $16,000 for his efforts Saturday night.

Damm ($15,000) found himself on the defensive early, as Wilcox stalked the Brazilian with punches while Damm valiantly but unsuccessfully attempted to take the fight to the floor. The total disclosed payroll for the event, which took place April 1 at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, Calif., was $68,500.

The co-main event of the evening was also an action-packed lightweight affair, as AMC Pankration product Caros Fodor ($10,000) disposed of Cesar Gracie pupil David Douglas ($2,500) with a variety of strikes.

Additionally, Lorenz Larkin ($4,000) impressed in his Strikeforce debut, as the athletic striker earned a TKO victory over K-1 veteran Scott Lighty ($2,000).

Strikeforce Challengers 15 Fighter Salaries Total $68,500 in Payouts

The California State Athletic Commission on Tuesday released the fighter salary information for Strikeforce Challengers 15: Wilcox vs. Damm.

Justin Wilcox dominated the main event, the ringside physician recommending the fight be stopped after the opening stanza, declaring Rodrigo Damm unfit to continue.

Strikeforce Challengers 15 took place Friday, April 1, at Stock Arena in Stockton, California.

The following figures are based on the fighter salary information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners’ bonuses.

Although mixed martial arts fighters do not have collective bargaining or a union, the fighters’ salaries are still public record, just as with every other major sport in the United States. Any undisclosed bonuses that a promoter also pays its fighters, but does not disclose to the athletic commissions (specifically, pay-per-view bonuses, fight of the night bonuses, etc.), are not included in the figures below.
