After being away from competition from the MMA world in about two and a half years Ricardo Arona will be stepping back into action by facing former UFC veteran Marvin Eastman in his homeland in Brazil on September 12 at a Bitetti Combat event in Rio De Janeiro.
SuperLutas.com got word of Arona’s comeback fight which will also have other such MMA veterans as Glover Teixeira, Luciano Azevedo and Milton Viera.
Ricardo Arona (13-5) has won Abu Dhabi tournaments in the past and has beaten the likes of Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson, Guy Mezger and Murilo ‘Ninja’ Rua and has lost to other fighters such as Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua while with the PRIDE organization.
Meanwhile Marvin Eastman (16-9-1) has also fought the best of the best in the business such as Rich Franklin, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Denis Kang and Vitor Belfort among many others and Arona will be no different for ‘The Beastman’.
