Taking part in the quarterfinal bouts are Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem, as he takes on Fabricio Werdum in a rematch of their 2006 Pride bout. While the co-main event sees the Strikeforce debut of Josh Barnett who faces Brett Rogers who looks for a victory after two straight losses.
Also featured on the main card are a couple more heavyweight matches between Daniel Cormier vs. Jeff ‘The Snowman’ Monson and Chad Griggs vs. Valentijn Overeem. A Strikeforce lightweight contender bout is also set featuring K.J. Noons and Jorge Masvidal.
