DO or do not.. there is no try

“Hopefully by October I’ll be competing. We’re finishing the contract I’d say with CBS, Showtime, and Strikeforce and making a deal that UFC can’t match. I feel sorry for the person they have me fight, but I do need one warm-up fight. I managed to come off a huge back surgery. It’s been a year since I’ve competed. I think one warm-up fight to get things going. After that, I don’t want no more warm-up fights. I’m hoping by my fourth fight, possibly fight Fedor Emelianenko at a catchweight. That’d be something that I’m looking forward to possibly by the middle of next year.”

"Look at me, I need to grab the spotlight in whatever way possible!!!"

-Tito's inner mind at hard work.

He could always warm up with Ken Shamrock's face...

I really hope to see Strikeforce come through the early stages to be a great promotion. So far I think they're on the way. I think it's been looked at in one way instead of the benefits it could bring. I mean instead of being the competition it should be viewed as another promotion that has quality fighters putting on good matchups and great fights. Then as it becomes bigger and Dana starts to realize the money making potential with cross promotional matches then we could start seeing some real "super" fights.

Ultimately I would like to see several promotions carrying their own respective titles and an international organization all are a part of that would allow for a true "world" champion title. A yearly tournament of sorts, bringing together the top fighters from all the groups. It's a far fetched dream but I think it would be pretty cool.

As for Tito fighting Fedor I think it would be a better fight than most think but I'm sure we all know the outcome lol. I don't see why they would have to fight at catchweight either unless Fedor were to drop down 10 lbs but I think that Tito could make it up to 230 no problem. I say why not, we need to see competition for Fedor and most like to see Tito get stfu.
