No way Seriously. Bruce Lee deserves much more credit than just a good ambassador or awesome movie star. He was a major pioneer. You ever see the movie Enter the dragon? He was using mixed martial arts in that movie. At that time no one else was using mixed martial arts except Bruce Lee. They are even wearing mma gloves. Bruce Lee was at the forefront of MMA. Even Bruce's own Martial Arts Jeet Kun Do , it was created to MIX all the styles of martial arts together. He also pioneered the way people began eating and working out in order to maintain the best physical conditioning possible. Hell Bruce Lee is the reason why weight lifting became so popular. If not for Bruce Lee we wouldnt have Arnold Swartzaneger. That means no Conan the Barbarian.

As for Bruce being an actual bad ass. I dont know. If Bruce were alive today and young, he wouldnt last so long with today's breed of mixed martial atrists. The sport has evolved so much and the training is so advanced now ( THANKS TO BRUCE LEE ) !!! Some people argue Bruce's speed. I dont care, after a round or two he wouldnt be so fast anymore and how much damage can he really do with punches so focused on speed rather than power and force? Bruce was a light weight and all light weights are fast anyway. Bruce was also learning jujitsu towards the end of his life and his potential in the art of jujitsu can never be known so its hard to say how he would stack up. Everything is a big if.  Afro

Cain is the new Fedor!

Good comments Bee, I do have to say that Bruce Lee wasn't interested in mma rather then in ma, i.e. that is goal was mastering an art that really could kill more then a simple sport as mma is... no disrpect meant to mma, of course, it's just that a martial artist who as a martial aim or a sporting aim isn't the same martial artist, altough words do sound confusing here, I hope you do get my meaning...

Cain reminded me of Fedor, small but technically superior!
