http://pennyjomma.net/2011/05/17/mma2day-show-special-guest-sunday-may-22-anthony-pettis/ While mixed martial arts fans gaze in amazement, in an exclusive interview with MMA2DAY Show, “Showtime” says he doesn’t feel any added pressure, “Not pressure man. The objective for us as fighters is to draw in the fans and make sure the fans get what they paid for. I am just going to keep doing what I been doing. I don’t think it was the best kick. But, it was probably one of the flashier kicks. It was one of those moves that I kind of was playing around with in the cage. I was doing it for fun. And I don’t know man something just took over.”
Not for a moment does Anthony think he is the only fighter with impressive moves, “I expect the level to get higher and higher and I am expecting some crazy moves in MMA.”
When MMA2DAY Show host Tom Caprio asked Pettis what he expects to see from Clay Guida that he may not have seen before in the past his response, “Uhm Some long wild hair.” He went on to say, “Clay Guida is one of those guys that have been around for a long time. He knows how to win fights. He imposes his will; he is a great ground player. He is one of those guys where you have to be ready for a long night.”
“I’m thinking he is going to try to take me down for sure. You never know with Clay Guida he has got those wild finishes. His head is moving all over the place. He throws some big bombs, so I think it would be smarter for him to try and take me down and ground me out. I am hoping for a good fight. We will see what happens.”
