Malki Kawa played his first hands in the world of high-powered negotiation in the field of real estate and quickly succeeded in closing some of the most profitable contracts in the state of Florida. His expertise in negotiations and his passion for sports naturally brought him to the world of athletic representation.
Mr. Kawa has been a licensed sports agent since 2005. He began his agenting career by representing some of the finest NFL athletes. He effectively assisted in acquiring lucrative deals for such notable players as Barry Sanders, Jerome Bettis, and Eddie George.
As CEO of First Round, Mr. Kawa has concentrated all efforts on representing MMA fighters. He is as controversial as he is ruthless in negotiations, attributes which have made him one of the nation’s most powerful and renowned MMA agents.
